Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a Cuban and American TV arbitrator since Caso Cerrado. Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonz lez, who was born from Havana Cuba moved with her parents to Miami at the age of 2 years old. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba, is the host of the famous Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" that has been the only Spanish programming to be awarded a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she placed at number one on the list of Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo graduated from Florida International University with a academic degree in political science. She was born in Havana on the 11th of April 1959. After that, she received the PhD in law from the University of Miami, and practiced for twenty years in Miami. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo was first introduced to television audiences in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) and other court shows in which the legal skills of her was showcased. Literature Accolades and Literary Work In 1958, the author released her novel Los Hijos Muertos. It was awarded the Critic's Award for Literature as well the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain to her home in the United States 1960. Polo is a survivor of breast cancer and often gives talks to help raise money. She has advocated for LGBT rights all throughout her life. She has a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in Florida, and is also a Florida Bar Member.
