Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress model TV host and comedian. The new queen of Drama by several media outlets, Panganiban is recognized as one of the most seasoned and versatile actresses in the Philippines. She had double pneumonia that was caused by a severe strain of strep-pneumococcal. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston in Atlanta, where she received treatment for her life-saving illness using ECMO-based life support. The patient became septic and suffered multiple organ failure, including her kidneys which did not recover. The patient was required to change her daily routine around hemodialysis as well as peritoneal dialysate. Her return home was finally made after an eighteen-day stay in the hospital from the point where she was close to death, and began her long journey back to health. Her life had been forever changed. Angelica's life forever changed after she underwent kidney dialysis. Angelica's mother was the only one who could donate the kidney. Angelica Hale along with her mother underwent a kidney transplantation in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th 2013. Angelica Hale, a young Atlantan girl who always thought of becoming an actor as well as a performer, is still pursuing this dream.
